Sadly the implementation leaves a lot to be desired. The game is actually very linear despite what the store page mentions about open world. First big problem is the controls. You use the mouse to move, and double click to run. This is quite out dated, and the Devs really should have implemented a more traditional twin stick control system. Also thanks to the isometric view and the low res visuals it can be quite the chore when you need to locate switches and the like. Even when you can clearly see them they can be hard to click. And finally there is the magic system where you need to drag and drop 'runic symbols' to achieve your goals. This is an interesting idea, but if you get caught by a roving spirit and you are near a symbol area, you cannot actually drag them to the enemy that is killing you...as they will try to auto drag the the symbol area. Very frustrating. And talking of enemies there is a random enemy that is like a cloud of static that will jump you, and I have no idea how you beat it. Some times spam clicking the mouse works, other times it doesn't leaving you to die and reload from the last checkpoint. For a more intuitive control screen and a bit more polish overall this could have been an interesting experience, but overall I found it far too frustrating even with the low price.
